Bite Sized Communication Tips

Want to make a big difference instantly? Ask people how they like to communicate and actually do it. It’s that simple.

Try this:

  • “Do you prefer talking, texting, or visuals?”

  • “Do you want time to think before answering?”

  • “Have I explained that clearly or ndo you need me to explain it a different way?”

Ask people how they prefer to communicate and then actually honour that preference.

When you ask, “How do you prefer to communicate?” you’re doing more than choosing a channel. You’re showing emotional intelligence. You’re showing flexibility. Most importantly, you’re showing respect.

So many misunderstandings happen not because people disagree but because they communicate differently.

When you adapt to someone’s preferred way of communicating, you remove friction. Conversations become clearer. Responses become faster. Trust builds naturally.

And here’s the best part: it costs nothing.
No extra effort. No grand gesture. Just awareness and intention.

Always Ask. Listen. Adjust.
